Scary Carrie

We’ve already seen a second adaption of Stephen King’s Carrie.  Now we have a third.  It is seemingly unnecessary.  And the choice of Chloe Grace Moretz strikes me as odd.  She is a good actress, so that is not my issue.  But she has never, in any role I can remember played a truly fragile character.  And honestly, she looks like a legit prom queen.  Sissy Spacek looked lost and awkward in the role.  Even in the TV Movie, Angela Bettis has a..disconnected quality in her eyes.  Maybe Moretz will prove me wrong and she will stun me with her performance.  And I will admit…I kind of like this trailer:
