Mitt’s Obama Moment Is Very Different

You know the fascinating thing about Romney’s May speech to donors?  It is a lot like that “Cling to guns and God” video of Obama.  But there is one remarkable difference.

In Obama’s speech?  He wanted those people.  He was trying to reach those people.  He did not suggest they were bad people, but that reaching them may be a challenge.  But he wanted to get their votes.  They mattered.

Mitt Romney says that 47% of the population doesn’t matter.  He cannot make them want to take responsibility for themselves.  His attitude is basically: 47% of the population is in Obama’s pocket because they are dependent on government.  So, fuck em.
