Republicans: It’s All About Respect for the Judicial Branch

So, when President Barack Obama said the following, I confess I was a little shocked:

“I don’t know if there is a cause-and-effect connection, but we have seen some recent episodes of courthouse violence in this country…And I wonder whether there may be some connection between the perception in some quarters, on some occasions, where judges are making political decisions yet are unaccountable to the public, that it builds up and builds up and builds up to the point where some people engage in, engage in violence.”

I mean, that is a pretty outrageous.  How could any sitting politician make such a nakedly aggressive comment?  Of course, that is what you get with Democrats.  We all know how the-what?  President Obama did not say that?  Oh, then it was probably Harry Reid.  And I tell you… it was not Reid?  Really?  Nancy Pelosi!  Of course!  It had to be Na-no?

It was Rep. John Cornyn?  Must be a Democrat, though.  I mean Republicans hold judges in high regard. They say things like:

“This president’s attempt to intimidate the Supreme Court falls well beyond distasteful politics. It demonstrates a fundamental lack of respect for our system of checks and balances.”

What do you mean Cornyn is a Republican?!  And you tell me Republicans show that lack of regard for the judicial branch all the time?!
