Wonder Woman Wears the Pants
So, Jim Lee redesigned Wonder Woman’s outfit (Here is a rundown of pretty much every outfit she has worn). It’s been the talk around town for costume changes. I have seen it pop up in non-comic changes. And most, it seems less than favorable. But when I weigh the pros and cons of the change… well..
Pros
A less star spangled appearance. I get that Wonder Woman was created at a time of war, and that her outfit was meant to convey a patriotic flavor. But the fact is, she is an Amazon steeped in greek mythologies.
It’s a more functional outfit, overall.
It’s not a swimsuit, making Wonder Woman’s physical assets a bit less of a focus.
For someone who engages in modern combat? Bare legs seems odd (although, many ancient cultures did fight bare legged) and impractical.
Cons:
Loss of iconic image.
That jacket.
Really…those are all I can think of. I guess for me the jury is still out on how I feel about the change. It is better than red and blue Superman…that’s for sure.

I don’t mind the costume change.
I do dislike the new origin that goes with it.
(Oh, she wasn’t raised on an Amazonian Island. She was raised in New York by survivors of the Amazonian Island.)
Jury’s still out if the origin change is permanent or just for this storyline. I’m guessing the former.
I meant “the latter”.
