What We Need Is More Phinehas-es

Or is it Phinehi?  Whats the plural?

Now is he actually calling for Christians to commit murder?  Probably not.  Christianity has a habit of taking such moments from the Bible and using it metaphorically.  Murder idolaters with words.  Shame them, or oppose them or both.  Frankly, I don’t find Phinehas a noble person even metaphorically.

Brian Fischer and the American Family Association are unworthy of respect anyways.  I do love his attempt to suggest the Nazi SS were literally all gay, because gay people are so prone to violence and savagery.

And look at Dan Savage!  It is right there in his NAME!!!!!

Some might try to claim that Fischer and the American Family Association are just some crazy fringe group.  They are not.  They are a non-profit group that has been denouncing gays for years.  They are at the forefront of the ant-gay marriage movement and leading opposition to DADT.  Major Republicans appear on Fischer’s radio show to spread their message.

Fischer also lacks an understanding about the separation of Church and state.
