Really, Mr. Cantor?
You are going to blame the Democrats for getting death threats and ruthless hate voice mails?
Democrats are getting phone calls telling them they will have to “look over their fucking shoulders.” People filled with rage and hate like they have never felt?
Having listened to these various phone messages? I would bet much good money many of these people leaving messages go to church and call themselves Christians. What would Jesus do? I also would note that pretty much none of them actually know what is in the bill. But they are screaming the talking points of the Tea Parties and Republicans.
But Cantor and some other Republicans are trying to claim “we are getting the threats also!” He notes that a bullet was fired at his window. According the Police?
In a news release, Richmond police said that the bullet had been fired into the air early Tuesday. It hit the front window of a building that houses Cantor’s campaign office as it fell to back earth at a sharp angle.
You know what the kind of calls Republicans are facing? “You racists!!!!!”
And in the mind of Republicans? That is worse than telling someone you hope they die and that they need to look over their shoulders. The worst thing you can call someone is a Racist in the minds of conservatives and republicans. Because that is much worse than threatening someone’s life or the lives of their family.
When Republicans are ready to admit they fanned the flames and regret doing so? I am ready to hear them out. But I am not holding my breath.

This was staged by one of Cantor’s gun buddy, good try at being a victim but I don’t buy it, next.
Since their inception the Teaparty crowd (not a movement since they do have the numbers or clout) have been “haters not debaters”. In my opinion this is what the small portions of the republican party of “birthers, baggers and blowhards” have brought you. They are good at “Follow the Leader” of their dullard leaders, they listen to Beck, Hedgecock, Hannity, O’Reilly, Rush and Savage and the rest of the Blowhards. Are you surprise at what they do when you know what they think? The world is complicated and most republicans (Hamiliton, Lincoln, Roosevelt) believe that we should use government a little to increase social mobility, now its about dancing around the claim of government is the problem. The sainted Reagan passed the biggest tax increase in American history and as a result federal employment increased, but facts are lost when mired in mysticism and superstition. Although some republicans are trying to distant themselves from this fringe most of them are just going along and fanning the flames.
Montana – Seriously, I never understood why Reagan was sainted then. I sure don’t know why he’s sainted now, given the fact that he probably would be challenged in a primary – on the right.
Because Reagan was a movie star and managed to have pretty much the entire country be Red States (only ONE state was for his challenger in his first election)
As much as Republicans bash Obama as a “rock star” politician, Reagan was the same thing times ten.
