Roger Ebert: Look How Happy I Am

Esquire shows why I have really come to admire Roger Ebert over the years.  I am left wondering if I could face mortality with such calm and grace.

The title comes from this quote in the article:

There is no need to pity me, he writes on a scrap of paper one afternoon after someone parting looks at him a little sadly. Look how happy I am.

It’s not pity in my eyes, Roger.  It’s admiration.
