Seriously, David and Cheryl Lynn wrote these really interesting and thoughtful posts. I can’t add anything, because, (rather expectedly) they say it so well, I would just be reduced to basically committing plagiarism.
I never have purchased an iPhone…but the iPad is intriguing. It seems Marvel doesn’t currently have a thought out plan for this “game changer”.
Thanks to AMC…and apparently, the pilot script is good stuff.
Uh… okay. (I am not endorsing this view, btw… just in case any misguided soul thought this was the case)
Ha ha, I made a joke about the metal band, but I am talking about a movie of the same title. Ha ha…yeah.. shut up. Anyways, again, the Final Girl film club goes like this: Stacie Ponder, aka The Final Girl, picks a movie and then we all write about … Continue Reading Final Girl Film Club: I Prefer Early Sabbath
The Glenn Beck edition. Glenn Beck is all class. Brown’s comment was goofy and kind of stupid… it was not so horrific as Beck makes it out to be. It is certainly not an indication of some evil and illicit personality. I have issues with Brown… this is not one … Continue Reading It’s About Keeping It Classy…Part 3
The comics edition. The comic company Zenescope Entertainment recently sent out an announcement for their Girl of the month competition. Controversy has hit. Apparently, we all kind of overlooked that they did it for all of 2009 as well. But they are promoting the contest where the winner gets to … Continue Reading It’s About Keeping It Classy… Part 2

Good for Former President Bush and other conservatives who called Rush and supposed servant of God Robertson on their idiocies.
Some Honorable Mentions: 1. Ghost World (2001)- One of the first non-superhero films to hit theaters, it showed that there were other things going on than spandex crime fighters. An indie film, based on an indie comic, with a fairly indie cast (comprised of young up and comers and character … Continue Reading Best Comic Book Movies of the 00’s Part 3
1. Dark Knight (2008) & Iron Man (2008): It might seem like a cheat, but these films are such polar opposites in tone, that to try and declare one better than the other is an injustice. Dark Knight is the heavy and oppressive serious film. Heath Ledger’s performance as the … Continue Reading Best Comic Book Movies of the 00’s pt 2
My parents have gone into Haiti in years past to help do work on Orphanages… so I heard plenty about the issues that plague the people there. But none of that seems to much matter this morning. This is just horrific. Update 1: Feministe shows ways to help Haiti… Update … Continue Reading Tragedy Strikes
A highly impartial and totally scientific list compiled by me, myself and I made by looking at my DVD/Blu-Ray collection. 6. 300 (2006): Yeah, Zach Snyder made the list twice as well. Again, it is for a visual faithfulness that brings a rather…uh… over the top take on a historical … Continue Reading Best Comic Book Movies of the 00’s
